TERMS & CONDITIONS

Full payment must be made at time of booking - we do not accept provisional bookings and places will only be confirmed once payment is received and Pharos Wine School have emailed a booking confirmation.

Bookings will only be accepted on valid booking forms with a fully completed declaration.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS MAY BE USED BY WSET® TO CONTACT YOU DIRECTLY.

CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS

All Courses and Events are subject to minimum numbers and Pharos Wine School reserves the right to reschedule or cancel them if necessary.

Course fees will be refunded in full if Pharos Wine School changes a course /event date or cancels a course /event if enrolments do not reach the required minimum number of students / participants. Notification will be provided in the 10 working days prior to the planned course /event start date. Unfortunately, we are unable to reimburse any travel and /or accommodation expenses incurred.

Cancellations of confirmed places are accepted up to 12 working days prior to the start of your course. An administration fee of £25.00 will be deducted and the remainder of the course fee will be refunded to the payee.  For Level 2 only, if you wish to keep your study materials, the fee will be deducted from your refund. However, if the study pack is returned in an unused condition, the fee will be reimbursed.

If you cancel your booking during the 12 working days prior to the start of your course, or at any time after the start of your course, the full course fee will be non-refundable and we will be unable to transfer your fees to another course or another Approved Programme Provider (APP).

TRANSFERS

Please be advised that we are unable to transfer your course over to the next academic year, or to another Approved Programme Provider (APP).

You can transfer a confirmed booking either to another date or another person up to 12 working days before the start of your course. Please be advised that there will be an admin fee of £25.00 plus the cost of any additional study materials where applicable.

DELIVERY COURSE MATERIAL

Level 1 course materials are provided to students on the first day of the course. They will not be posted in advance.

Levels 2 course materials will be posted to a student’s home address on confirmation of payment of fees. The pack is bulky and requires a signature – please indicate an alternative delivery address if necessary. It is essential that a daytime telephone number is provided on your booking form. It is important for the student to provide a complete and accurate delivery address and make sure someone is available to receive the package, at that address, at the prescribed time. Any materials returned to our school, having not been successfully received by the student, will automatically result in an additional cost of return being charged.

EXAMINATION

Examination dates are fixed to the course onto which you book.

You are required to provide authorised photographic ID (e.g. passport, photo driving licence or national ID card). Your first name and last/family name must match your photographic ID and must be the original documentation (photocopies or scanned images will not be accepted).

You will be refused entry if you fail to bring your original documentation as proof of ID. If this happens, you will have to re-book onto the next available examination, which will incur the full examination fee to be paid.

RESITS

In the unlikely event that you should fail your assessment, it is possible to attend one of our resit examination days. You must complete and return a Resit/paid transfer examination booking form.

All bookings are processed on the understanding and basis that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

All the policy statements of Pharos Wine School are available on request from any student or client.
